Luminous masterbatch or Luminouse Powder

Should we use a phosphorescent masterbatch or a Luminouse phosphor in case of phosphorescent injection molding? In the case of luminouse phosphor, it can be used not only for various transparent materials (PPS, ABS, PC, PVC) during molding, but also for materials such as translucent materials (ABS).

Difference 1. Molding machine

When using Luminouse phosphor, it is better to choose a machine with a short injection barrel. During injection molding, it is necessary to finish molding in the shortest possible time to prevent burning of the material.

Difference 2. the method of material mixing

When using Luminouse phosphor, it is necessary to add white mineral oil to prevent the phosphorescent material from precipitating. When mixing materials, it is effective not to mix them vigorously with a metal mixture. can lower it.

Difference 3. Mixing method

The mixing of plastic materials and Luminouse phosphors, can increase the ratio of phosphorescent pigments according to the required phosphorescent luminance, but usually 1:> 0.5 is considered to be the maximum ratio.

Same point 1. Drying temperature and time

It is necessary to dry the mixture of phosphorescent masterbatch and phosphorescent pigment for more than one hour than normal drying time to ensure sufficient drying of the material.

Same point 2. Molding temperature

During molding, the temperature of the front part does not need to be changed, but the temperature of the middle and back parts needs to be lowered appropriately. In particular, in the case of PC material, it is necessary to lower the temperature by about 200℃.

Same point 3. Dyeing

When dyeing, it is recommended to choose as bright colors as possible, such as yellow, green, orange, and red.

PS. The phosphorescent pigments used here are usually coated phosphorescent bodies.
